We are an independent group of enthusiasts affiliated to the Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers..Our trains are mainly based on the Narrow Gauge lines of North Wales but we also model trains rom all around the World.

We meet at the Midland Railway Centre, Ripley, Derbyshire. near Butterley Station.
We have an extensive Outdoor layout in a Garden Setting and we have a cozy cabin where copious quantities of tea is consumed.
Our membership comes from a wide range of backgrounds and occupations, with lots of skills gained over the years but mainly wanting to play trains.
There's always someone friendly around, to chat about all things railway as well as engineering, modelling and life in general.
One of the brilliant things about our trains is that they are big enough to use Live Steam but small enough to carry around.
We have a well established garden and our layout presents many opportunities to take steamy photographs.
We recently took on the patch of garden adjacent to the the toilet block.
